Terms of Use
These terms govern access to and use of the FAACCE platform, its editorial output and its physical cultural experiences.
Effective 2026
Acceptance
By accessing FAACCE — the digital platform, associated communications and physical experiences — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Platform usage
The FAACCE platform is provided for cultural discovery, editorial engagement, curated acquisition and creator representation. Use of the platform for unrelated commercial scraping, automated data harvesting, or resale of platform content is not permitted.
Creator responsibilities
Creators who submit work agree to represent themselves and their practice truthfully; to warrant that the submitted work is original or properly licensed; to secure any community or heritage consent that a work may require; and to respond to reasonable curatorial correspondence during the review process.
Artwork submissions
Submissions are reviewed by the FAACCE curatorial process before publication. Submission does not guarantee publication or acquisition. FAACCE reserves the right to decline, defer or request revision of any submission that does not meet its editorial, cultural or ethical standards.
Content guidelines
Content presented on or submitted to FAACCE must not infringe intellectual property, misappropriate cultural heritage, misrepresent origin or authorship, or contain unlawful, hateful or exploitative material. FAACCE may remove content that breaches these guidelines.
Acquisitions
Where FAACCE facilitates acquisition of a work, the transaction is governed by the acquisition confirmation issued at the time of purchase and, where relevant, a separate agreement between the collector, the creator and FAACCE. Provenance, authenticity and fair remuneration to the creator are non-negotiable.
Intellectual property
Ownership of creative work remains with the creator. Platform content — including images, editorial text, curatorial notes and catalogue entries — is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without permission. See the Intellectual Property Policy for detail.
Account & communication
Where an account is created, the account holder is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of access credentials and for activity conducted through the account.
Limitation of liability
The platform is provided on an as-is basis. FAACCE is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the platform.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of FAACCE's principal place of business. Any dispute will first be pursued through good-faith correspondence with info@faacce.org.
Updates
These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
